Almost everything that builds front Delts involves pressing overhead, which is not always available if your shoulders are cranky. This loads them directly through the raise instead, with tension that climbs as your arms come up.

Standing Front Shoulder Raise With Bands start and finish positions

Set Up

Anchor: None needed.

Bands: Clip a handle to each end of the band.

Body position: Stand on the band with your feet hips width apart and grip a handle in each hand. Stand tall, back straight, head straight, chest up, stomach tight. Arms straight, hands resting on the front of your thighs, palms facing in.

Movement

Raise your arms straight up in front of you until your hands are at eye level.

Points To Remember

  1. Keep your hands about six inches apart as your arms rise.
