Chopping from high to low trains your core to resist rotation as well as produce it, which is what it spends all day doing outside the gym. You get the Abs working on every rep and you get range through your midsection that crunches never ask for.

High Low Chops With Bands start and finish positions

Set Up

Anchor: Door anchor at the top of the door.

Bands: Clip both ends of the band into one handle and grip it with both hands.

Body position: Stand about two feet from the door with your side facing it. Chest up, head straight, arms almost straight with only a slight bend. Rotate toward the door so your arms point up at the anchor.

Movement

Pull your hands down and across your body until they finish by your outside leg, just above the knee. Return under control and repeat.

Points To Remember

  1. Keep only a slight bend in your arms. They should stay close to straight throughout.
