The mirror image of the high low chop. Starting low and finishing at eye level works the Obliques along the opposite diagonal. Run both for a few weeks and you will notice the rotation getting easier well outside the gym.

Low-High Abs Chops With Bands start and finish positions

Set Up

Anchor: Door anchor at the bottom of the door.

Bands: Clip both ends of the band into one handle and grip it with both hands.

Body position: Stand about three feet from the door with your side facing it. Chest up, head straight, arms almost straight with only a slight bend. Rotate and bend toward the door so the handle starts in front of the knee nearest it.

Movement

Pull your hands up and across your body until they finish at eye level. Return under control and repeat.

Points To Remember

  1. Keep only a slight bend in your arms. They should stay close to straight throughout.
