Anchoring at the top of the door means the band is already stretched when your arms are straight, so the hardest point of the rep lands at the very start instead of the end. Your Biceps have to break the resistance from a dead stretch.

Lying Biceps Curl With Bands (Arms Up) start and finish positions

Set Up

Anchor: Door anchor at the top of the door.

Bands: Clip a handle to each end of the band.

Body position: Grip a handle in each hand and lie on the floor with your knees bent, feet flat and your toes touching the door. Arms straight, pointing up at the anchor, palms facing up.

Movement

Curl the handles down and in until your hands are right in front of your face.

Points To Remember

  1. Keep your upper arms pointing at the anchor throughout.
  2. Fully straighten and fully bend the arm on every rep.
