Lying Lat Pull

Most band back exercises never let your arms reach full extension overhead. This one does. You will not load it heavily, but the range is the point, and the Lats get worked at a length rows and pulldowns never reach.
Set Up
Anchor: Door anchor at the bottom of the door.
Body position: Grip a handle in each hand and lie on the floor facing the door with your arms straight overhead, pointing at the anchor. Shuffle away from the door until the bands start to stretch. Head straight, arms straight, shoulders reaching up toward your ears.
Movement
Pull the handles down and away from the door until your hands are level with your chin. Return under control and repeat.
Points To Remember
- Grip the handles loosely, just tight enough not to drop them, and pull through your elbows.
- Pull your shoulders down as your hands come toward your chin.
